I'm having some chain issue. I went with an RK chain back in January and have flat worn this thing out already. I maintained it just as I have in the past with my other chains.  Granted this chain went thru a 9hr race and about 5 harescrambles, plus couple hundred miles of practice.  I normally use DID, anyone got any input of their preference.

Also, the microfiches shows 118links, Rocky mountain ATV lists it as 116links.  I don't have my manual in front of me, but last time I believe I ordered 118....I'll recount tonight.

Are you changing your sprockets and chain at the same time?  I have always heard that is they way it should be done.  I have not had it long enough to tell but I am giving Rocky Mountain's Primary Drive kit a try.  $105 for alloy sprocket and x-ring chain.  http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/44/54/226/959/9840/9655/Primary-Drive-Alloy-Kit-%2526-X-Ring-Chain    

The amount of mud you ran in makes a tremendous difference.  I have had good luck out of the primary drive kits,but you guys ride faster and more than me.

I use Tsubaki Gold Omega chains and Sunstar Sprockets. But I change only the rear sprocket with the chain and about two front sprockets in between. I get pretty good wear that way. Of course I have only used this combination about 25 some odd years!!!! That's just my take.

I normally go thru 2 fronts and a rear per chain. I just put my 2nd front on.  I run two different rear wheels, one with an Ironman the other with a Primary Drive Sprocket on it. I use Primary Drive 90% of the time on the front.  Perhaps the shear amount of mud I've seen lately as accelerated the wear.  

Jim, I'll check out the Tsubaki, obviously has worked well for you. 

on a side note: the Ironman sprocket still looks brand spankin new, that thing is TOUGH!

Is one of these the right one. I'm not finding a Gold Omega in the 520.  Maybe I'm not looking in the right place yet.

Yeah, the Alpha Gold O-Ring Chain is the one. I have ran the Omega, but the Alpha is better wear and easier on the sprockets. Very good chain and don't stretch until they are almost gone!
