WOW!!! Now that was a day in the woods in Arkansas! It could not have been any better. Kent, hris and I were headed to the NFS to ride out my section for the dual sport event later in June. Chris had to cut out at the gas station due to a snapped clutch cable on his 1993 Suzuki DR250. Never been replaced he tells me.... So Kent and I went on. We didn't get far before we found an error on our route sheet. Then some mileage errors and then too many lefts and rights in a Hero section! Good thing we had the map of the trail so we could figure it all out. After we made it to Cove Creek we had around 62 miles in. Lynn was there and we went over what we had found. Rode back to the trauck via a new section in Bob's sectoon that was found last weekend. NICE - how did Doty get that trail??? Rode the single track back to the back of the 160. I could ride about 80 miles of that sort of trail all day long. When Kent and I got to the trucks we had approx. 87 miles in for the day. Didn't seem like it. Felt pretty good. Kent is going to get the iron butt award since he has about 150 miles in from last weekend and this one. A big thanks to him for riding along with me to check out my section. Now I guess I get to do his! Alan W. was out on the trail of the 160 when we got back and the other 160 riders were gone. That woulod be Tom, Bobby and Bob. Alan was on his new Beta 200 with smart carb. Looked good. So all in all we had a great day and the BLC at Cove Creek was excellent. See you guys out on the traails next time. HAPPY EASTER everyone and hope you know what that means. . . .
