I've been working on a tight woods single track trail on our family's 40 acres. Before the timber was selective harvested, I had 4.6 miles of super tight trail.
After the timber harvest, the trail had to be completely rerouted and recut. (going behind skidders and taking out stumps is time consuming work.)
I have mostly finished rebuilding my trail and have between three and four miles (I really need to hook up an odometer.) of "not as tight", but still tight single track. If any of ya'll would like to come down to Smackover and help compact the trail, yell at me. I can ride most days that end in "Y". I don't want to rut up the short first (grandkids/beginner) loop, but the rest of it is fair game.
Last Monday, I rode the trail on my IT200 AHRMA competition bike and made a video. It was posted to youtube, and can be seen here:
Good Riding to All Y'all!
