I am headed to Arkansas with a riding buddy via RV during April 22-27 2014. I am looking for recommended trail ride and cross country spots. We both ride motorcycles (not atv) and would prefer agressive terrain, if possible. Thanks for any suggestions!
At Brock Creek, look before you go down a hill, as you may need to come back up it. The perimeter trails are more easily managed than the cross (east/west) trails. It's all rocky with dirt. It's an interesting place to ride. There is a primitive campground at Brock Creek, or you can stay in one of the motels in Russellville and be only 35 minutes from the trail heads. (using hwy 124 through Appleton and Jerusalem.) There is very little cell service at Brock Creek.
Thanks for the additional information. We are leaving from Fort Worth today. We were headed to Byrd's first, but Brock Creek is looking very interesting. Doesn't look like Brock Creek has RV hook ups, so we will be prepared. Really appreciate the tips!!!
Do you know anything about the Bear Creek Trails at Daisy State Park/Lake Greeson?
There are a bunch of Trails at Lake Greeson. They include a "straight line" (two way) trail from Daisy State Park to Laurel Creek Access. We host a hare scramble just east of the Kirby Landing area campground.
