Crowl wins state title,
racer of year award
in motocross racing
In just his third year of competitive racing, Zac Crowl won a state championship in motocross racing.
Crowl, a 35-year-old Southside resident and engineer for TWH Interprises, LLC, rode his Austrian-made KTM 300xc-w motorcycle to the state title in the Arkansas Hare-Scramble Championship Series A Vet division.
Crowl also won the series Most Improved Rider of the Year Award and the Arkansas Dirt Riders Racer of the Year Award. The Arkansas Dirt Riders is a Little Rock-based off-road riding club.
The Hare-Scramble state-wide racing series begins in February and runs through November with over 145 racers competing in 11 events. The series includes racing in 13 “big bike divisions”, six ATV classes, seven youth divisions and two women’s divisions.
In the first three races of the current season, Crowl has won two races, finished second in the third and is leading the A Vet points series. The fourth series event, the Hot Water Hare-Scramble, is set for April 29 in Hot Springs.
Crowl, who is sponsored by SGP Racing, Motion Pro and O’Neal, also competes in other series competitions.
