With all my "Friends" bailing out on this ride because of "cold weather", I went out this morning to the 160 in New Blaine. The sun was shining and the air was crisp. Perfect. The grass track was great and offered much funness until I got to the ice/mud puddles where it was pure evilness and had me trying to auger in going through some of the corners. Joe Kneeling was there perfecting his Grass Track and woods skills. Joe and I talked for a bit and then he loaded up. I headed into the woods and the trail was great; no ice, good traction and the trail was EZ to read. My first lap was ok as I was working out the kinks in the bike and body. So I came in and warmed up with a nice cup of hot coco. Just like you guys were; except you people were on the couch.
I headed back out for some more trail time, the creeks were not high or icy. All in all a great day to ride. No one else showed up to play and that was too bad. I brewed up another cup of hot coco before loading up and heading home to a blazing fire in the wood stove and the Houston Supercross tonight on the TV. Oh, Jason Anderson has the fast qualifying time, then Roczen but Eli is out!
