We are too tired. It was hot and dusty. The dust wasnít too bad in the woods. RT rode his first ARHMA race Saturday in the Intermediate class on his XR 200. I think he broke a record for getting bumped up to Expert class. He won the Expert class on Sunday. Iím pretty sure all the ADR members that rode scored well.
Cross Country race report. Felt good to be on the starting line for the first time in about 10 years. Dust worries had me determined to get the hole shot.
Saturday signed up for PV over 70 intermediate class. Got the hole shot and won my class. Got 7th overall for the day. After the race Saturday I was protested for going to fast and was moved up to the Expert Class for Sunday's race.
Sunday got the hole shot and won the Expert class. Got 6th overall for the day.
Turned out that the dust was not a problem on the Cross Country course after all.
AND worked the MX races as well!!! Glad to see you out racing on those old, er, vintage scooters again. Wonder how one would feel like at Brock Creek??? Curious minds just want to know. Hey that XC course was in great shape both days, but got chewed up a bit after the Post Vintage races on Sunday. This rain will cure a lot of those issues with time. ADR once again did a great job of promoting two great venues. Hope the riders liked what they paid for on Saturday and Sunday. The dust was a real issue on the MX track. We really need to address that before we do another MX race this time of year. . .I am just sayin'. Just a suggestion.
