Alright veterans of the sport need some input. Been to colorado to ride now 2 summers in a row. We go with a mixed group of skill levels from me down to C class, a vendor of ours here at work pays for our trip and wants anyone of any skill level to go.
We stayed near monarch pass last year, went to Buena Vista and rode Dud Bob trail, then out to taylor park to hit Star Trail and something else close there that I can't recall. We did Green mtn trail and some of monarch pass.
This year we stayed in Buena Vista and rode Dud Bob again, doctor park, rainbow (south), and timberline.
I see where alot of guys I know are going to the west side of taylor park to ride. My question is are the trails easier over there? There are only so many days in a row I can take the nonstop erzberg rock and root trails. I know that's why we come to colorado but we'd also like to find some of those Bruce trails (3rd gear feet on the pegs). Our B and C guys really struggle by day 3 with elevation and constant rock beat down.
Hope ya'll are all doing well!
