Ronnie, Sid, Tim and myself gathered at the 160 on Saturday, the 17th for some serious dirt, trail and tree abuse. The weather was humid, breezy and overcast. We were all glad the skies were cloudy to help keep the temps from punishing us. The dirt was really good and only got better throughout the day. We ran a total of 7 laps,5 the traditional direction and 2 backwards. We ran the 7/10ths each time and found out the small bridge had developed a hole in the middle which got bigger each lap. That will definitely need the club's attention. Maybe the closest landowner will fix it???
At the end of the day (around 2:00 pm) we logged about 42-43 miles and everyone said what a great ride it was. As you could guess Tim, Ronnie and Sid were challenging each other for the lead while I rode unofficial sweep. I guess they were celebrating Fathers Day a little early by hollering "who's your daddy?" each time they lapped me. I thought that was nice.
