I feel that the goats have been laying low during this hear spell. We discussed the goat trail and it's history at lunch yesterday. Wonder if there has been many traveling that route lately.
They certainly didn't look as though they had ridden Buckeye recently! Think I might have to go venture onto the goat trail on my next ride there and even go on done the old part that includes
"the Rock". Haven't been there in awhile. Any other takers??? Ah, come on, there has got to be a couple of you that want to know where the "Rock" is located. There are some in the club that
don't even know what that term means. It was pretty cool until about a third of the way through the event one year. Then folks decided to try and pass folks just before it and wound up down the hill!
Sort of cause a stir until a crew showed up to direct riders across the "Rock". And Steve thought he had the market on "last man standing" sort of trails. One of the reasons we took it out of the enduro route. That and someone bought a section of land in between the goat trail.
