Arkansas Dirt Riders

Gosh it's hot! A shirt and tie and dress slacks are certainly not the ticket for these records temps in Arkansas.

It is brutal out there. The sidewalks are starting to stick to the soles of my shoes! I ate a nice warm lunch off the hood of my car Thursday:

eggs and sausage! I have seen ants sunbathing on the sidewalk. My son went to the Spring River to fl;oat and he did more carrying that floating.

Be careful out there and just dream of the nice cool winter that we are going to have. . . .  

Colorado sure sounds good.  

uh, actually it doesn't! Fires and extreme heat everywhere in Colorado. Steve P. was about to head out that way and they have closed several major and minor roads in the state. 

I'm thinking maybe Idaho or Wyoming. . . 

Don't we have a friend out that way that invited us to all stay in his house and ride the trails....Rob....Roger...Ron....Ronnie, that's right!

er, that would be Utah dude. Provo is I'm not mistaken. That is a little south of Colorado and there is nothing there to burn up. It was taken a while back in another lifetime....

Sure miss ole Ronnie. He was just getting up to speed here and a great club member as well. My son is riding his personal Orbea bike - and it is a very good looking bike at that.

er, for one that does not have a motor that is.

Utah...ya...that's close enough!  I think Ronnie is really enjoying what he does now, the non-motored bikes seem to be his real passion.
